Job Description and Requirements: Raphael’s Party Rentals , San Diego’s leading tent, event rental and special event design company, is looking for an experienced professional to join our team. RPR provides rentals and décor for sporting events, concerts, weddings, corporate and memorable events.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in the hospitality industry with a keen focus on design. Candidate will be working directly with hotels, corporations and meeting planners, be highly motivated, client-focused, and have attention to detail. Candidate will also have the ability to win customers over and developed significate partnerships.

Job duties include:
•Marketing and selling event rentals and décor to customers
•Obtaining new customers through direct marketing and networking
•On site client meetings
•Provide layouts and detailed event descriptions.
•Attend training meeting and industry events.

•Minimum 2 years’ experience in the events industry in a sales capacity
•Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Proficient computer skills
•Existing knowledge and familiarity with event venues in San Diego
•Excellent teamwork skills
•Excellent organizational skills with a strong emphasis on attention to detail
•Ability to multi-task and handle multiple large projects simultaneously
•Proven creativity and problem-solving skills within the events industry
•Outgoing, sociable personality
•Must be available to work evenings and weekends when required
•A valid driver’s license and a car is required
